The Streets I Keep Coming Back To

People ask me all the time which street I'd point them toward, and honestly it isn't one single block. It's more about what a street feels like when you stand on it.

The ones I recommend most often share a few things. They're quiet without being empty. You see kids on bikes, someone walking a dog, a neighbor waving from the porch. That kind of everyday life tells you more than any listing description ever could.

I like the streets where the trees have had time to grow in. There's a softness to an older, established block that a brand-new development can't fake yet. It comes with time.

I also pay attention to how a street sits relative to the noise and the traffic. The ones I trust are the tucked-away pockets that are still close to what you actually use every day, without the through-traffic running past your window.

But here's the honest part. The right street for you might not be the one I'd pick for myself. Some people want to be steps from the action, and some want the calm cul-de-sac at the very end. That's why I ask a lot of questions before I ever point you anywhere.

So when someone asks for my favorite block, my real answer is: let's figure out what matters to you, then walk a few together. That's usually when the right one becomes obvious.
