Vancouver Neighbourhood
An old streetcar district turned creative hub, where brick warehouses and craftsman homes share the same tree-lined blocks.
Mount Pleasant VW sits east of Cambie and south of False Creek, one of Vancouver's oldest neighbourhoods and still one of its most alive. Century-old character houses climb the slopes toward Kingsway, while converted industrial buildings along Main Street house studios, breweries, and small offices that have made the area a magnet for makers and young professionals.
Main Street remains the neighbourhood's spine, lined with independent coffee shops, vintage stores, and restaurants that draw visitors from across the city. Access to transit, downtown, and the seawall is easy, but the pace here stays distinctly local — a mix of long-time residents, artists, and newcomers drawn to its walkable streets and unpretentious, creative energy.
